WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?
In the learning industry, you can take your pick of conferences and events. You can choose by time of year, location, duration, area of interest, maybe even by box lunch or buffet. What we hear most, though, is that these events don't inspire, don't let you get creative, and have you looking for an early flight home.
At the Learning Leaders Conference, we are changing that. A loosely structured agenda. Only approved attendees and recommended companies. Quality networking time --- including "white space" for you to take your thoughts offline with smaller groups. Real discussions with learning tech providers. And your commitment to stay through the end (it's a cruise for goodness' sake!) and our commitment to provide you with lasting relationship that will without question advance your career.
We're giving you the time and space, the expertise and opportunity to refresh your perspectives and outlooks so you can grow personally and professionally. We know this works because it's how we've reached the point to offer this opportunity to you.

Our discussions will focus on four critical areas for learning: Leadership, Innovation, Strategy and Technology. These are the drivers of your future talent development strategy. Our mentors will offer stories, processes, and considerations. One will take the lead on the topic while the others add color. Think of it like an improv show by format but here we get to the crux of it as one leader inspires the next to share and before you know it, you'll also be part of the show. Learn more.
Listen to the stories of learning solutions providers who tackled challenges brought to them by some of the world's biggest companies. See how they addresses those issues, worked with each other to implement new ideas, and bring real results to learners. Give your feedback and apply what they did to what you do.
This is your time to think and get creative. Sit on a couch with someone you don't know, grab a smoothie with a shot of wheatgrass or a high-octane coffee and solve problems. Your colleagues have been there. Use them now and make them a part of your circle.
CREATIVE WHITE SPACE
We've all been to an EXPO. Maybe we've even tried a little VR but we want more. Challenge our learning solutions providers with what you've learned and make them show you what they can do. You have a role here too. You weren't invited here to recommend an LMS to your boss' boss' boss. You were invited here because you think bigger. Get into the The Playground, get your hands dirty, and get creative.
FUN. FOOD. FRIENDS.
We all judge an event by the people we meet and the new things we learn --- and the food, drink, entertainment and venue? Ok, be real --- it's all important! From a night overlooking the city, to singing with friends at a dueling piano bar, to taking it to the sea on a dinner cruise. We promise you will leave us full of food, fun, and friends for a lifetime. All aboard!
Your experience begins with a reception that immediately lifts you to the top of your game. Join us for a cocktail at the Gaylord Hotel's rooftop bar, Pose. Here you will meet many of your colleagues for the first time over conversation, craft cocktails and a view of the Washington DC waterfront and skyline.
Set a foundation with insights for creating business relationships that move your learning strategies forward. Then, watch our hosts take on innovative learning companies in our own version of Shark Tank. End the day with dinner, music, and singing just steps away at Bobby McKey's piano bar.
With Journey still ringing in your ears, we'll start by playing with toys --- well, technology. Try out technologies, conquer real problems in small working groups, and get some time with our hosts. The Odyssey Dinner Cruise will host our farewell with music, dancing, food, drinks, sights and awards.
